12 Days of Christmas Giveaway

Giveaway time!

Why celebrate Christmas on one day when you can celebrate for 12 whole days? It’s time for my 12 Days of Christmas Running Giveaway! Sure the 12 Days of Christmas traditionally start on December 25 and conclude on January 5, otherwise known as Twelfth Night, but let’s get the party started early.

For the next 12 days, I’m giving away an array of running goodies that could fill Santa’s sleigh. I’ll feature one prize per day in social media. Enter via the widget below or on Instagram. Enter as many times as you like on as many days as you like; all entries are eligible for any prize. I’ll choose all 12 winners randomly at the end of the 12 days, which conclude Tuesday, January 5 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern time.

Check out these awesome prizes—some culled from my own personal cache and others generously gifted from the companies below. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

An Altra Gift Pack with Altra Trucker Hat, Altra Water Bottle, Altra Multifunctional Headwear, Altra Bottle Opener Keychain, and Alta Lip Balm.

I had the pleasure of running the Runner’s World Half & Festival presented by Altra and nabbed a bunch of these goodies for myself and one lucky winner. If you don’t already own multifunctional headwear, trust me: you want one! They’re super handy for the road and, especially, the trail. Runner’s World goodies

Runner’s World Gift Tote with The Runner’s World Cookbook, Runner’s World 2016 Calendar, and Runner’s World Training Log.

The cookbook has lots of great recipes designed with runners in mind (Check out Cookbooks For Runners From Runner’s World & No Meat Athlete); the calendar has workouts, training tips, race listings, and more; and the training log is what I’ve been using since 2007 to keep track of all my runs. Yep, I love me some analog. I’ve got stacks of filled logs and a brand new one for you, too.

Fitletic Neo II Running Belt

A Fitletic Neo II Running Belt and Fitletic V-Neck Tech Tee.

I’ve been wearing Fitletic belts for ages and absolutely love them. They stay put and keep my things dry.  I own three: a single pouch with bib toggles, double pouch, and hydration belt. In the era of giant mobile phones, Fitletic has even updated their belts to fit larger phones! Want to snag some Fitletic goodies for yourself? Affirmats “I am wonderfully made”

An Affirmats “I am wonderfully made” yoga mat.

Seriously, this is the most beautiful yoga mat I have ever seen. It’s eco-friendly made of a jute/ECO-PVC blend, and it’s truly slip resistant—a real problem for me with most mats. The best part? The inspirational phrase across the top: “I am wonderfully made.” It’ll make you smile with every downward facing dog.

7) On the seventh day of Christmas my run bud gave to me…

12 Days of Christmas Running Giveaway

Running books

What I Read When I Read About Running, including a signed hardcover copy of My Year of Running Dangerously by Tom Foreman, and hardcover copies of What I Talk About When I Talk About Running by Haruki Murakami and The Essential Sheehan: A Lifetime of Running Wisdom from the Legendary Dr. George Sheehan.

12 Days of Christmas Running Giveaway

Signed copy

I had the pleasure of hosting a panel at the TCS New York City Marathon Pavilion featuring Foreman. He signed two copies of his book for me—one for me to keep and one for the winner here. I’m also including two other books full of ruminations and truths about our sport—one from my favorite author, Murakami, and one by one of the great writers in the genre, Sheehan. All great books to cozy up with in winter.

8) On the eighth day of Christmas my run bud gave to me…

12 Days of Christmas Running Giveaway

Make like Parks and Recreation‘s Tom and Donna: Treat yo self!

I love my New Balance shoes and gear, including this backpack that has become my go-to bag. It’s got a padded sleeve inside that’s perfect for my laptop and roomy pouch outside for easy access. Plus, this thing fits so much with a draw string closure and adjustable straps. If I’m on the road, this bag is with me. Thankfully, I’ve got a second one for you. And I’m throwing in $50 for you to spend at newbalance.com or participating New Balance stores on whatever gear you need: shoes, shorts, tanks, tights, socks, hats. 12 Days of Christmas Running Giveaway

In one of my Puma running outfits

A head to toe outfit from PUMA including shoes, bottoms, and a top!

In November, I partnered with PUMA via Instagram and Twitter for a 21-day challenge to run in their shoes and gear. The brand was new to me, so I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by how resilient and responsive the IGNITE PWRWARM shoes are (I ran my 2nd fastest ever 5K in them) and how cute the clothes are—purple, purple everywhere! As the grand prize in my 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway, PUMA will outfit one lucky winner from head to toe. You’ll give me your sizes and PUMA will hook you up. I can’t promise it will be purple, but it will be stylish!

Good luck, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
