Sean Astin Talk Tinker Bell Half Marathon

Sean Astin has run the Tinker Bell Half Marathon two years in a row. He set a personal best time at the inaugural Tinker Bell Half Marathon in 2012, finishing in 1:59:07.

But this year, the actor took it easier and stopped for photos along the way, finishing in 2:26:51.

Astin, who has also run the LA Marathon, promotes his Run3rd Twitter campaign through his running endeavors. Run3rd encourages people to dedicate their runs to a loved one, cause or idea.

After the 2013 Tinker Bell half Marathon, Sean Astin chatted with runDisney sports public relations manager and content producer Bob Hitchcock about his experience in the race.

As part of the running media, runDisney sometimes provides me with complimentary race entry, hotel, park tickets, and some meals for runDisney events. But as always, all opinions are purely my own. I really do believe in being honest about my experiences and Disney is no exception. For more information read my Disclosure Policy.
