   Hey Karla – I was wondering if you had any insight on spectating the Family Fun Run during Disney World Marathon weekend?

   My boyfriend is running the 5k on Friday morning and the website is super sparse on details. Is it possible to spectate this race to cheer him on?

  Hi Courtney,

  I’ve never spectated the Family Fun Run through Epcot, but I have run one. There were lots of spectators near the start and finish, but none on the course through Epcot. I checked the Family Fun Run final race instructions and it says this about spectators: “Spectators are encouraged to view the 5K start and finish from the Imagine Lot at Epcot. There will be no viewing areas along the course or from within Epcot.” So it’s as I suspected. I’m sure he’d still love a high-five as he’s coming in to the finish. I know I would! And the way things are set-up, you can easily travel with him, be with him before the start to wish him luck and see him off, then cheer him on as he’s coming into the finish. Hope that helps.
