In this week’s webisode, New York Road Runners’ On The Run caught up with American marathon icon Meb Keflezighi. Honestly, who doesn’t love Meb? He owns a silver medal from the 2004 Athens Olympics, won the 2009 ING New York City Marathon, and at the age of 37 still keeps the heat on all his competitors. After a fourth place finish at the London Games, he’ll celebrate the 10th anniversary of his marathon debut at the ING New York City Marathon in November.
You’ll also meet Travis Moret, a sixth-grader from the Bronx who runs an astonishing 4:50 mile while facing some serious roadblocks of his own. Joe Battaglia, a track and field producer for NBC Olympics, stops by to debate the merits of the World Marathon Majors, and the show pays a visit to Team Athena, an all-women’s running club in Portland, Oregon.

That was another great episode. I’m impressed with the production standards and quality of the video — good enough for TV for sure!
